Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Currently in foster in Western Washington. NOVA, the Brindle puppy, is the sweetest female. DOB 3/4/21..now about 22#s...will probably get to be about 40-45#s when grown. She is one of a litter of 3 that all had Shepherd confirmation with big ears. She was the one with the most brindle coloring. She is very sweet and very quiet. She'll bark if the others do. She loves water in the baby pool... On a scale of 1-10...her energy level is a 5. She'll be great for an active family...also children. She has lived with a foster that had 5 other dogs, 2 cats and a doggie door. She is very close to being house trained.
Nova has had ALL 4 puppy vaccinations, Bordetella vax, and Rabies vax. She is spayed and microchipped.
This dog is available now to adopt. Adoptions include neuter/spay, vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies), microchip, transport with our professional dog transporter, and 6 mos of heartworm prevention. You can ask us about how pre-adoption works and our "trial period."
If you have any questions, text me... 210-394-6060.

GET IN LINE FIRST: If you are interested in this dog, please fill out the application (link listed above). The rescue will contact you once the application is received. Although we strive to answer everyone, due to the high volume of inquiries we receive, we cannot guarantee a response to all emails. Filling out the application is the ONLY way to ensure a response from the rescue. In addition, while you are emailing us, if others apply, you lose out adopting the dog you chose. We have hundreds of puppies/dogs available so there really is no need to apply anywhere else. Also, one application is good even if you are interested in several different dogs...one application no matter which one you choose. We try to make it as easy as possible for you but if you are applying or have applied anywhere else, we do need to know that, too.
SHANYE'S FOSTERS is a group of foster parents in the Olympia/Tumwater area. We foster dogs for rescues and assist them in adopting/rehoming of their pups/dogs by listing on this site. Many dogs posted here are available to pre adopt NOW directly from the rescue. The only ones in foster in the NW specifically state that. We have very few fosters so most need to be pre adopted. All adoption fees go towards rescuing more dogs in need. No one receives a salary. Shayne's Fosters is not responsible for any experience you have with any dog you might see posted on this site. They are the property of the sponsoring rescue who will supply all medical supporting records which is given with each dog when adopted.
Our adoption fees cover all medical costs to make sure the pups are appropriately vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and spayed/ neutered. It also covers the cost of transport from Texas and the necessary health certificate documentation. The fees also include a negative heartworm test for any dogs over 6 months. Some dogs have additional medical, such as FHO, ACL, hernias, dental, and a myriad of other vetting. We do full disclosure of medical care/situations. If the adoption fees seem high (which never cover the true cost of rescue), we recommend fostering for a good rescue. Fostering ensures you incur no vet bills and no boarding fees. We are always in need of good fosters. We are all volunteers who donate our time and resources to help save as many dogs/pups lives as we possibly can.
Thank you for choosing to adopt a rescue pup/dog. Over 1 billion dogs worldwide are put to sleep (PTS) annually... thousands daily. The dog pounds PTS entire litters, pregnant/nursing moms and wonderful dogs that can make someone a great companion. We firmly believe there is NO breed other than "rescue" for all species. Thank you for being part of the village it takes to save these precious lives.
