My story

Felv/FIV test: negative

Hi SOS Family. I’m the newest addition and my story is everything but a fairy tale. I was initially found in a dumpster at 2 weeks of age and taken in by a lady with addiction problems. I didn’t know better at the time as she took good care of me.

Over the last couple of months, I’m almost a year old or better YOUNG and I experienced a lot of change in my young age. From my mom and I moving from place to place, mostly staying in hotels and lastly, when things got challenging, I spent my time in a storage unit - mostly on my own. It was a terrible situation, a mess. A family member reached out to SOS to see if they would be able to help me and they stepped up. YAY

I moved into a loving home a few months ago and it was wonderful with the kids. Unfortunately, the adults were overwhelmed with my activity level and decided to give me up to go to a home better suited for me. I'm also an expert in giving love nibbles and am known to be mouthy. I'm working on it and you need to help me to continue my education on the topic.

I'm a young, energetic and VERY playful cat who is very people oriented and is seeking all the attention in the room. I love my cat tower and use the scratching post. My little brain needs something to do and activity. I will spent my time on the window sill watching the birds or lizards or chase a toy or two. I still prefer human playtime over self-directed playtime.

I know my name and will come to you when called. My favorite forever home would be a place with someone home with me at all times, or at least as long as possible. I like to drink water from the faucet or from a half full sink rather than a bowl. Yet, this is not a must by all means just a recommendation on my part. If you want to win my heart, give my wet food. Fancy Feast is my favorite!!!

I'm not a fan of storms or loud rain. During the last couple of weeks, I made my way under the bed when the storms started. Maybe you can be my protector when it comes to weather? I will get along with other cats in the house, I'm not sure on dogs yet. Whenever I saw one at the Petsmart adoption center I was stressed and started growling. I might be okay after slow introductions but would prefer a home with cats only. Also, a household with older children is preferred as I tend to play rough at times and get my kitten crazies on.

I hope you will follow my story and hopefully adopt me into a loving forever home. I was checked out by the veterinarian when I arrived at SOS, my shots were updated, and I tested negative for Feline leukemia and FIV. Please give me time to adjust and space to be my best self, we will make a great team. Let’s grow old together.

Please submit an adoption application and arrange a meet and greet to get to know me. Here is how you do it. Please submit an adoption application via http://www.SOSCatRescueAZ.org/Adoption-Application
