Sawyer has sadly made his way back to us at no fault of his own or his adoptive families. Unfortunately the sweet lady that adopted him has had life altering health issues and is unable to care for him any longer. We had hoped they would spend their golden years together but sadly we are searching for a home for Sawyer again.
He is still the sweetest boy you will ever meet.
Sawyer would prefer a calm household, preferably as the only cat. If dogs are in the house, he would like them to be calm as well. He just wants a home to be spoiled at for the rest of his years. He is now a little over 16 years old but is still full of personality.

Previous information from 2021
Sawyer was pulled from a local animal shelter after he and his dog brother was brought in by animal control due to neglect. They were both underweight (Sawyer has made it up to 8.5lbs!!)His dog brother found a home but Sawyer was very depressed in the shelter and wouldn't eat so he was pulled to find his forever home by NBARR

Sawyer is the most laid back lap cat you'll ever meet. He likes other cats and dogs but would be much happier in a calm home being the only pet or at least only cat where he can have all of the love.
He deserves a home where he'll be spoiled.
He has had a few vet visits in the past couple weeks and has started a new medication regimen which is to help with his old age pains. He gets around well and loves to eat and be loved on. The vet checked his eye and he is completely blind in it, she said it was an old injury that wasn't treated but he has no discomfort from it, he is just a little more cautious on that side. He has had a pressure check and he has 0 pressure in his blind eye (which anything under 19 is ideal)
He has been aged by 2 different vets at 2 different ages. His primary care vet thinks he is about 15 and has just had a rough life which makes him seem a little older than that. We are hoping Sawyer has many years ahead of him. He is looking for a home he can spend his golden years and just relax and be pampered.
