Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Usher!
Usher came to us from an unsafe home, where he was neglected to the point where he had developed a terrible urinary blockage. After a hospitalization, medication, prescription food, and lots of TLC he has made a wonderful recovery and we can see what a super sweet soul he really is!
He loves to rub up against your legs and solicit head and neck scratches. This handsome boy's purr is a real motor, and he gets so happy whenever snacks come out that he will come running to you--no matter what! He is a curious guy, and will happily explore all of the corners of his home before settling in the coziest nook for a good nap. After he's rested, he'll be ready to play play play! Usher loves springy toys that will bounce around and he'll happily play with soft catnip toys too.
Since he has a history of neglect, Usher is slower to warm up and trust new people and although he really enjoys attention, he does get a bit overwhelmed at times. He will need a human who is extra patient and attentive to his need to take things slow. He has already made amazing progress in his short time with us and we know he’s bound to become some lucky human’s new best friend!
