Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Please note that we are a TX based rescue that transports our dogs once aodpted. All of our dogs reside in foster homes in TX. Our application can be found at haydudeequine.org
Our next PNW run is on 7.14
The origin of my name is Old English and means "young helper / assistant of young nobles".
As a two year old, Husky/ German Shepard blend, I have the genetics of working dogs on both sides which have served mankind for centuries!!
By nature, I am a bit reserved (Husky breeding!!), but am immensely loyal and devoted once I select my human. I am calm, relaxed, and gentle .I love to give and get attention and affection!! Oddly enough, I love bath time!! It makes me so happy to have my hooman spend time scrubbing my back and talking with me...and I feel great when I am through. I also like playing dress up by weraing different colored bandanas :) Blue is my favorite!
I get along great with other animals and will do well in a home with another dog or by myself. I would do best in a home with a yard and moderately active hoomans
At 50 pounds I have reached my full adult weight and am the perfect medium sized dog!! I can keep up with you on a hike and then we can snuggle together on the couch afterwards!
In keeping with the origins of my name, I most definitely would like to have a new Hooman to assist!! Please fill out an applicaiton and adopt me today!!
