My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

FRENCHY LOVES KIBBLE, COOKIES, AND HER DOG FRIENDS.

She loves going outside to run,  play, put her nose to the ground and explore; especially to the laughter and praise of  her foster mom.

She's not demanding but LOVES the human touch and is never really too far away.

Frenchy will give a little whine when she needs to go outside.  She smiles and wags most of the time.

She comes  by for attention every so often and is more than willing to give hugs and the occasional  kiss  when  called.

Frenchy is a beautiful sweet soul and will
fill the hearts and home of any family she can call her own.

Frenchy was raised with a large pack where she stayed 24/7 with her siblings and senior owner. She rarely left the home or property and when her owner passed away suddenly her way of life was abruptly taken from her as her entire pack was separated. Frenchy was left to go it alone and we stepped up to give her an opportunity to find a new home of her own despite her loss. She has adjusted wonderfully inside her foster home and loves her foster family (dogs and people). But she remains terribly unsure of new places where she doesn’t know anyone, especially if there are no dog friends to help her feel safe.

Her ideal home will be patient and have the time to help her adjust and get to know a new routine. Have at least one dog friend that is social and outgoing, and will welcome her to the pack. Have an easy going home and lifestyle, not filled with neighborhood kids running in and out or the expectation that she will be an adventure dog on day 1 (or 50). She is a wonderful dog that lived a safe and happy life that just didn’t afford her exposure to change. We want her to have somewhere to call her own that will see the great girl we have all come to love!

If you have a soft spot for the special ones that need a real chance - ask to meet Frenchy!
