My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Lola, a spirited and resilient 6-year-old looking for her perfect forever home! Despite facing some challenges in her past, Lola's determination shines through, and she's eager to find a caring foster or permanent family to help her bloom.

Life hasn't always been easy for Lola, which is why she might take a little time to trust new people. She's seeking someone patient, experienced with her breed, and willing to take things slow, allowing her the time she needs to feel safe and secure.

If you're interested in learning more about Lola and how to foster or adopt her, visit www.scoutshonor.org. Scout's Honor Rescue, a 501c3 organization, focuses on rescuing dogs from high-kill shelters in Texas, providing them with a second chance at a happy life.

For more updates and stories about their incredible rescues, follow Scout's Honor Rescue on Facebook (@scoutshonorrescue) or Instagram (@scoutshonorrescue).

If you'd like to support their mission and help dogs like Lola, you can donate through various platforms such as Venmo (@ScoutsHonor-Rescue), PayPal (www.paypal.me/scoutshonorrescue), or by visiting scoutshonor.org/take-action/donate/. Remember, Scout's Honor Rescue operates solely through volunteers, ensuring that 100% of your donations go directly towards saving these precious animals.

Lola's journey towards a loving home is just one of many, and your support can make a world of difference in giving these dogs the chance they deserve.

Go meet their pets

Scout's Honor Rescue does not currently have its own facility to keep the animals in its adoption program. All animals in our program are fostered by individuals who keep the dog or cat at their residence until it is adopted. Consider opening your home to a dog or cat in need. You become the caregiver to a precious animal – their future is in your hands! It is incredibly rewarding to know that you have given that animal the two most precious gifts- Life and Love. For many of them, this is the first kind hand they have known.
