IDGSR WELCOMES MEL-ROSE INTO THE SAFETY OF THE RESCUE!!!!

Mel-Rose is approximately an 8 year old Senior Female Black and Tan German Shepherd.
Mel-Rose has such a sad story to tell (better get those tissues ready) this precious darling was dumped at 8 years old and not only that was exposed to rat poison. We are so thankful to Animal control that got her to the vet and the hard work the vet has done to save this wonderful kind gentle girl, then getting in contact with us so she can have a new life one that is filled with love and show her that she is so wanted.
Mel-Rose is friendly and such an happy young thing, yes she is so healthy she loves running around and would make an great running/hiking partner, she is great with dogs but can be a bit picky about other females so a large male dog in the home or her being the only pet would be best for her. She is such a baby doll and loves to learn new things and all she wants is to be loved in a loving home with the right family a home where she feels loved and safe and you will have the best buddy ever. We recommend basic training to all not only is this good for your new dog but for you too, as this is a wonderful way to bond and it is so much fun .Training is imperative for any new dog going to a new home, not only for obedience but also for trust and respect.

NO SMALL DOGS.
NOT CAT TESTED.
