My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Emily is a "project cat" with LOTS of potential! Surrendered to our care when she was just a baby, Emily was not socialized and fearful of humans. As a resident of our free-roaming cat sanctuary, Emily is comfortable in the company of kitties, learning to trust her people, and curious about making new friends. Thanks to our dedicated staff and volunteers, we discovered Emily's love of learning. This smart cookie is a trainer's dream! Food motivated and eager to please, Emily is sure to show up the family dog with her terrific tricks and purrfect "sit pretty." She loves to play and with proper approach enjoys gentle pets.

Emily is on the prowl for a patient and understanding adopter who's experienced with fearful cats and socialization. She's currently not a lap cat and does not want to be held -- but in the right home, with lots of patience, we're hoping that will change.
