My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello there! My name is Bo (formerly Lobo). I’m a one year old Mini-Schnauzer. I weigh 16 pounds, and I’ve been neutered. I’ve nearly finished all my vaccinations too! My foster says I love my daily one mile walks, and that helps me get my fidgets out…then I’m a couch potato who loves to snuggle. I’d prefer to sleep on the bed with you, but I am crate trained. I enjoy car rides. I’m pretty well trained on leash walking too, I only pull a bit.

I don’t guard my toys or food…did I mention I love food and I can’t get enough? I currently live with another small dog, and I enjoy playing with other dogs. I don’t know how I would feel about cats. I like kids too! Fetch may just be my favorite activity - you will get tired before I will! I like all sorts of toys too, including Kongs, tennis balls and squeaky toys.

I’m potty trained, though I may have the occasional pee accident when I get nervous or excited meeting new people, especially men. My new family will need to understand that I might need a little time to warm up. I’ve been left alone in my foster home for short periods without any trouble, but I would prefer having my people home with me as much as possible.

I think I would be ok in an apartment if you gave me regular exercise and playtime, though I’d prefer a yard to get my zoomies out!
I know my basic commands – like sit, bed, off, come!
