My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Laverne is a very sweet little 8-10 year old Westie/chihuahua mix weighing about 10 pounds. LaVerne and Shirley were found by a very nice lady on a lawn in the hot sun  in a dog carrier without water. She had no idea how long they had been there. She took them in, gave them food and water and took them to her vet. Fortunately, they were fine. Unfortunately, she couldn't keep them so we were contacted. Laverne, is very relaxed and loves to snuggle in your lap. She enjoys going for short as long as she gets to stop and smell along the way. She has enjoyed being able to walk and then ride in a doggy stroller that the foster has. She really thinks that is neat. LaVerne appears to be house trained which is an added bonus. She isn't much of a barker but will bark if there is something to bark at. The foster says she is a joy to have around but she doesn't know how she would do with small children or cats. We would love it if LaVern and Shirley could be adopted together but if they can't we understand.
