My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Hootie and I'm a 4.5 month old (1/15/2010) awesome and energetic guy!

Playing with my other foster dog buddies is a blast! I'm a typical pup - I love to play, run, eat, and wrestle.

I'm doing well with crate training, have just started leash training, and I know that obedience training isn't far behind - or so I've been told!

Because of my eventual puppy nippiness and energy level, I will not be adopted out to a family with children under the age of 8 years old. This is because children younger than 8 generally do not understand how to effectively redirect my puppy behavior and may think I'm trying to hurt them when all I'm doing is being a typical puppy!

I've been neutered and dewormed, am up to date with age appropriate vaccinations, and am on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives.
