My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

5/13/10 - I'VE BEEN ADOPTED!

Adoption Fee: $500.00

Fostered in Louisiana

Age: 1 year

Weight: 9.9 lbs.

ADOPTION APPLICATION REQUIRED:
Visit www.YorkieHavenRescue.com to apply.

12/6/09 - I’m going on a shopping spree. I’m looking for a new home with a nice fenced back yard, nice furniture to put in my house that will be perfect for napping, food to fill the pantry and my belly, an army of toys for me to de-stuff, and a couple of humans to be at my beck and call. I don’t really have a lot of money, but everyone tells me that money can’t buy happiness. Do you take monthly payments in kisses and yorkie love? If so, then let me introduce myself - I’m Cody!

As you can read above, I’m only 8 months old, so still in the “puppy stage.” I love to play with my foster fur-siblings, so I would prefer that my new castle have some four leggers with energy to play with. Nothing too senior, because no matter the age, I will try to play with them and wouldn’t want to upset an elderly pup. My potty training is going good, but foster mom says that I will still try to mark at times, so I’m still wearing my belly band (diaper for male doggies) right now just to be safe. I enjoy sleeping with my foster mom and dad in the big people bed, but if there is another pup to curl up with in a snuggly doggy bed, I’m there.

Since I am still young and tend to want to “re-decorate” while the humans are away, foster mom keeps me safe in my crate while she is away and I seem to do fine there (if not left very long hours). I am a kisser, but am polite enough to wait for the invite to smooch. I’ve heard some yorkies will demand kisses, but I wait for you to ask for them (and you will). I am very affectionate and just love attention. Even though I am puppy and have puppy energy, once I settle down, I am very much the lap hog.

Another plus, I just love taking a bath. Ok, let’s not say “LOVE”, but foster mom said I am a very good boy while getting my baths and I just sit there like a gentlemen while being blow-dried. Let’s face it, everyone knows that a well groomed man is hard to resist, so I’m all for the primping. Oh, the downfall - I am all boy and once outside to play, I love to roll around in the grass and mask my new clean smell and hairdo.

With all of the great information I’ve given, I know you just can’t wait to fill out the application to adopt me, so I’ll wrap up my bio so that you can get to applying for me.

Bark at cha later. Cody
