Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Meet DALMA! This Australian Cattle Dog mix is only 2 years old and weighs 40 pounds. She is mama to Mocha, a puppy also up for adoption (yes, they look very different!)
She is beautiful, gentle, and is very chill. This sweetheart is great with ALL dogs of all sizes, and humans too. We feel Dalma is such an easy going dog and she should be cherished!
Dalma's rescuer describes her as "sweet, noble, and aims to please"! She loves rolling around in the grass....the simple pleasures. What more can any family want with a gem like Dalma?
Dalma would be a great choice for a person looking for a young dog, but not necessarily a puppy.

If interested in this perfect girl, please complete an application!
Our application can be found on our website, miraclesforsatosrescue.org

PLEASE NOTE: This dog is currently in Puerto Rico. Once an adopter is fully approved, transport will be arranged to New York.
In addition, if you are applying for this dog or any of our pups, you must be open to dog psychology/behavior (Cesar Millan) and fulfilling the needs of the dog.
We strive for our dogs to be adopted into the right home. Our priority is the best fit for the dog !
We ask that you please make sure if interested in a puppy or high energy breed that you are ready for this time consuming/daily endeavor and have patience as this is a long term commitment (could be 15+ years).
Please consider your future lifestyle after COVID.
Please make sure you are ready to properly exercise and give a dog all it needs for fulfillment. Your ongoing time and day-to-day commitment is the most important thing in caring for a dog.
In addition we cannot guarantee breed of any dog or expected adult size of a puppy. Thank you for understanding.

More about this rescue
Miracles for Satos Rescue
We are an all volunteer, no-kill, not-for-profit, 501c3 rescue group.
We rescue the satos (street dogs) of Puerto Rico from the streets, kill shelters and bad situations. Satos are unfortunately in abundance and these amazing sweet spirits need our help to find permanent loving homes!
We are the voice and for those who can not help themselves!
All donations are fully tax deductible!
Our rescuers and volunteers are unpaid so that any monies can be dedicated solely to the dogs! Medical, food, supplies, spay/neuter, and maintenance of our farm/sanctuary facility in Puerto Rico, transportation costs, and training are among the many expenses we have. We try to never say "no" to any dog in need!
We and our satos are grateful to our donors and our fosters and adopters!
