**BUSTER IS CURRENTLY BEING HOMED IN THE AMES, IA METRO..FREE TRANSPORT ASSISTANCE IS AVAILABLE TO ANY APPROVED APPLICANT**


This sweet boy is Buster. He is a recent addition to rescue so we are still learning a lot about him. He came to HHBR when he wandered up onto a farmers land and after they tried to re-home & couldn't find the right home they contacted a local rescue who in turn contacted us. He is doing absolutely wonderful in his temporary home. He is still a young VERY ACTIVE boy, around 2 years old, so he will need to go to a home that has lots of time for him and his energy level. At his temporary home they have a lab and he absolutely adores her company and they play well together. He ignores the cats of the home and is one sweet boy. He has had a few accidents, which is to be expected in any new home environment, but quickly learned the house training thing and is doing wonderful at it. He is UTD on all vaccinations, HW tested negative and on preventative and altered.

Please remember Every animal for adoption through an Hounds Haven is fully vetted for their age and only needs routine preventive care. Dogs older then 6 months of age are heartworm tested! All dogs are kept on heartworm preventative. Every hound is vaccinated (age appropriate), and de-wormed, in addition to being spayed/neutered.



We are asking for interested parties to fill out a pre-adoption questionnaire prior to us lining up an appointment for them to see the hound(s) at the hound(s)' home.
