Here's what the humans have to say about me:
AJ is a very friendly dog that would be great with kids and families. He currently weighs about 27 lbs and we doubt he will be larger than 40 lbs max. He is great with other dogs and we believe he would be ok with cats, but he isn't tested with them. It would not take long for him to be housetrained, He does not like to go in the fenced kennel area and always goes outside when taken out. He is about 6 months old as of the end of January. He has a bobbed tail, but we do not know why. He is from a high kill dog pound and an area where there is very little spay/neuter and a very high rate of puppies come through the dog pound. About 50 % die of parvo or other ailments. AJ was one of the lucky ones. He is immunized and has his parvo booster and he has been exposed. He is very healthy and very playful and happy guy. He gets a lot of attention because he has the bobbed tail and his mix is a little different.
Our adoption fee is $175.00 which includes the shots and neuter or spay. We require an application be process and a home visit. We have sister rescues in PA, NY, Ontario Canada, WV, MD and NJ.
