MIA is a beautiful soul with a heart of gold. She has impeccable manners and is the perfect companion for any family. This easy-going girl has a gentle nature about her and captures the hearts of everyone she meets. She is wonderful with big dogs, small dogs, and everything in between, even cats! Mia is intelligent, compassionate, and affectionate. She is every bit as sweet as she looks and is always thrilled to be the recipient of attention and affection. MIA loves being with her people, but may even prefer her leisure time more. She can most often be found curled up on her favorite dog bed or sunning outside. She is good in her crate when her foster family is away from home and knows to potty outside. MIA´s sweet nature endears her to everyone she meets. She is a true gem who will make her forever family’s dreams come true.

MIA is spayed, microchipped and up to date on all vaccinations including 2 rounds of both the H3N2 and H3N8 canine influenza vaccinations.
Her $490 adoption fee includes her interstate health certificate and the cost of transport to the Midwest after she is officially adopted.

All of our dogs start their journey in Memphis, Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted. Once adopted, some pups stay local in Memphis. Many others travel via one of our transport partners to their new forever homes. We use Pet Express Transport (https://petexpresstupelo.wordpress.com) for our Nashville, Knoxville and New England adoptions. For our Midwest adopters, we have our own private transport.
Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well-educated decision from well qualified staff.
Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Woof River is 100% volunteer operated. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.
