My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey there, I am Ginger (HWTH#21136A). I am a Siberian Husky mix, born 6/20/20 and I weigh 40 lbs. I was caught running around the ACE hardware store parking lot in Lake Los Angeles by a Halfway to Home volunteer. She brought me here where I hoped my owners would claim me but alas, it was not to be. That means I am now ready for a new forever home. I am a sweet and friendly girl who would like nothing more than to be an indoor dog that is treated like part of the family. I am also energetic so I need a yard with a tall fence to run around and play. Huskies are known to be escape-artists in particular when they get bored, so I need a lot of mental and physical stimulation. My ideal family is an active one who will take more long walks, maybe jogging, hiking, or even camping. I am not sure if I like dogs or children, but my gentle disposition suggests I would be fine with them if they are fine with me. We can figure out if we are compatible at our meet-and-greet. I am still young so I would benefit from obedience training so that I understand your expectations and it will help me bond with you. l think I would make a wonderful family dog so I hope you will consider adopting me.
