Here's what the humans have to say about me:
COURTESY POST IN FAULKNER COUNTY, ARKANSAS
This pretty girl is Peppa. She will be a year old in July. She is spayed, microchipped and current on all shots and flea, tick and heart worm preventative. She is very playful and loving to her owners. She can sit, shake and lay down on command and will fetch if she is in the right mood.
Peppa has had some trouble with stranger aggression but I have been told by a trainer who evaluated her that she believes it can be corrected. She gets along well with other dogs. She has been to doggie day care quite a bit and after the first day, she has had no problems adjusting. She meets me at the car when I leave in the mornings ready to go. I have taken her to dog parks and other than some barking at one park, she hasn’t had any problems with that. It takes her a bit to warm up but she is very loving and loyal.
She does need to live with someone who is willing to spend a lot of time with her and maybe even have a trainer work with her. She has some food aggression so it would be wise to let her eat in her own space. I have never had any fear of her for me and my family but she is extremely protective of our home and in the car. I do believe she would bite a stranger if she felt they were in her space. I would be more than happy to provide contact information for the trainer at her doggie day care for reference.
Peppa is a sweet and wonderful girl that absolutely loves her people but does have stranger danger. She needs a family that will allow her the time she needs to be comfortable with them. Once she is comfortable, she will be your most loyal companion. Experience with herding breeds will definitely help in understanding her and would help in finding her perfect match.
If you think Peppa is a good match for you, please email Tracy at : trace2207@hotmail.com or call 501-581-2207 There is a $200 re-homing fee to assure good folks with good intentions.
