Meet Gigi

Meet our beautiful Gigi! She is a young 1 1/2 year old, 50 pound, pure-bred

German Shepherd. She is a sweet and loving girl. True to her breed she

loves to alert you know if someone comes around. AFC staff said she is one of the most

beautiful Shepherds that they have ever seen. She is an active girl and

needs lots of exercise and attention. Do you jog, hike, swim and camp? Gigi

is the right girl to have at your side for life's adventures! Gigi loves

play time! You'll fall in love with her big beautiful brown eyes. She has

lived her life as an outdoor dog but no more as she now lives inside with outside privileges

and is house trained but will need some reinforcement.!

Using the command "go

potty" when you take her outside will reinforce good behavior. Her ideal

home is as an ONLY DOG! She is friendly with most dogs but an over active dog

brings out her more active side. No Cats, No Squirrels she will chase them! No

children, as she isn't used to them, no one younger than teenagers. Gigi has

had a lot of obedience training in her past and follows commands well.

Ideally training should continue with her new owner. Due to breed and size

restrictions in rental property, homeowners only need apply! Breed savvy is

a must. She is spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. Are you

What is included

In adoption fee for dogs

Spayed or neutered.



Nobivac Canine 1-DAPPv – Vaccination against canine distemper, adenovirus, hepatitis, parainfluenza, and parvovirus. (3 to 4 depending on how long we have them)



Rabies vaccination (if old enough).



De-wormed, Front-lined and Micro-chipped.



A free baby-well exam certificate that most vets will honor.



One week of dry dog or cat food.



One toy and one blanket.

We appreciate that you are interested in one or more of our dogs or cats for adoption. Here is a list of things that should help us answer you in a more timely manner.



1. When you apply please always use the same email address. If we need to look something up later and you used a different email we are often not able to find it.



2. Adopt a Pet and Petfinders ask you to send us an enquiry. This always delays our response. (Why)

a. Our biographies are always very detailed. Therefore sending an enquiry asking us to repeat what it says in the biography causes a lot more work and delays our response.

b. We are a small non-profit and do not always have the help to answer as many enquiries as we get.

c. Again our Biographies are very detailed and if you just click the link near the bottom of their bio you can fill out an application which we will respond to.
