Little Caesar is a gorgeous 3-year old male Shepherd/Yellow Labrador Retriever mix who was brought to the HSOV on June 21, 2021 by a Good Samaritan who found him on Franklin Drive in the Little Hocking Ohio area. Caesar was not wearing a collar so there was neither an id tag nor a dog tag to enable us to locate his owner .. And he was not microchipped.

Little Caesar has a blonde/tan short smooth coat, a long tail, and a beautiful face with pale brown eyes, a liver-colored nose on his long slender muzzle, and short floppy ears.

This big boy is quite the charmer and has a flamboyant outgoing personality. HSOV Assistant Manager Rachal Merrow accompanied Caesar outdoors for his 'glamour photos' and quickly discovered that he wasn't just another pretty face. Little Caesar is an intelligent gentleman who sat nicely for Rachel when she offered him a treat in exchange for obeying the 'sit' command. Rachel learned that he also would obey the 'down' command but (just like some children), Caesar suddenly forgot what he was supposed to do when the camera was pointed at him.

Little Caesar weighs 74 lbs and walks well on a leash.

In compliance with the Ohio Revised Code, Little Caesar will be held for three days so that his family will have an opportunity to reclaim him with proof of ownership.

UPDATE: Little Caesar was neutered on July 20, 2021 and was also given rabies vaccine.
