My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hank is a sweet 2-year old male Pit Bull Terrier mix who arrived at the HSOV on June 20, 2021 after he was picked up on Brush Road (Warren Township) by a Washington County Ohio Deputy Sheriff on behalf of the dog warden. Hank was wearing an electronic collar but, unfortunately, there was neither an id tag nor a dog tag on that collar .. And he was not microchipped.

Hank has a black short smooth coat with a large white bib on his chest, a long tail, and an adorable symmetrically-marked face with soulful brown eyes, black freckles on his white muzzle, and short semi-erect ears. When you see Hank's coat in the bright sunshine, you'll notice beautiful subtle chocolate brown shading.

Hank has a friendly, easygoing personality and is a pushover for attention (and 'good boy' treats). Hank was quick to demonstrate how he would obey the 'sit' command when he was outdoors with HSOV Kennel Tech Bradly Steven Loyland.

Hank weighs 43.8 lbs and is actually a small boy when you see him in person. He walks fairly well on a leash and is quite attentive and eager to please.

In compliance with the Ohio Revised Code, Hank will be held for three days so that his family will have an opportunity to reclaim him with proof of ownership.

UPDATE: Hank was neutered on July 20, 2021 and was also given rabies vaccine.
