Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Welcome Pepper to CCPAL WA. She is currently in a foster home in Olympia. Her family’s living circumstances have changed, and they are no longer to keep Pepper. She is 8 or 9. She was picked up as a stray in Texas, in 2015, and was only 8 pounds. Now she is 16 pounds. She’s definitely food driven.
She appears to be mix of Rat Terrier and Dachshund. She is mostly housebroken but does have an accident once in a while. If there is a pet door where she can go out when she needs to there’s no problem.
She gets along with pets in the same household but is leery of pets she doesn’t know and may growl a little if she sees one while on a walk. (She will chase a cat if it runs by her but it’s her way of trying to play with them.) She also may growl at strangers. She’s very sweet natured and has never bitten anyone. She loves children and seems to favor women over men, but with a little time she’ll warm up to a man in the household. She’s afraid of loud noises. She’s healthy and ready for her new life with a loving family. She loves riding in the car.
Her adoption donation to the rescue is $250. Meet and greets can be arranged pending application approval. To submit an adoption application, please visit our website at ccpal.info. You may also email ccpalinquiries@gmail.com
