My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**MILKY WAY HAS BEEN ADOPTED!** there anything cuter than a Shepherd puppy?! We at Pal's Place don't think so and we currently have 10 (!) cutie patooties looking for loving forever homes. These precious little guys were rescued from an overburdened animal control facility in rural Kentucky and are now in a loving foster home in Chicago waiting to meet their forever families. The puppies appear to be mostly German Shepherd, but we can possibly see some Lab or other type of retriever in them but we can't say for sure what their exact mix is. These little guys are approximately 10 weeks old (6/21) and all weigh between 11-16 pounds. We are expecting them to be medium to larger dogs when full-grown in the 45-65 pound range. There are 5 females and 5 males in the litter and they are all named after candy bars because they are just too sweet. The pups can be a little timid in new situations and with new people, but they warm up very quickly. Given their breed type, we are expecting that they will mature to be very energetic and intelligent dogs that will do best with active families. Please keep in mind that puppies this age need frequent potty breaks (every 2-3 hours or so) and lots of playtime during the day for the next several months so please consider if you truly have the time for a puppy prior to applying. The adoption fee to the rescue is $475 per puppy. This fee helps to cover their medical expenses while in our care. They are spayed/neutered, up-to-date with age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and have received a round of dewormer. We expect these puppies to be very popular so get your application in today!

• This litter is in a foster home and can be seen by appointment only after an application has been received and approved. For more info or an application, please email palsplace1@hotmail.com or visit palsplacrescue.org/adopt/

• We cannot place holds on our dogs for more than a few days after an application has been received and approved for a meeting. Therefore, please do not apply to adopt unless you are ready to welcome a dog into your home.

• The adoption fee for these puppies is $475. This donation helps cover necessary medical to prepare them for adoption, including their spay/neuter, initial vaccines, initial worming, and microchip. Pal's Place relies solely on donations to care for the pets in our care. Your donation also helps save other animals like this little family from euthanasia.

• Please email Palsplace1@hotmail.com for an adoption application or visit Palsplacerescue.org, and please put the name of the dog in the subject line. Also, please be sure to check your spam/junk folder; sometimes, the applications end up in there.

• All of our dogs in foster homes can be seen BY APPOINTMENT ONLY after an approved application has been received. To receive more info, please email palsplace1@hotmail.com. Email is the preferred method of contact and is the quickest way to receive a response. Unfortunately, we cannot place holds on our dogs. Please do not contact us until you are prepared to adopt.
