Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I am a special girl with funny view on the world. My eyes don`t work the best but I can still see enough to be a goof ball and a lover. I love to talk, whether its meowing for attention or trilling while looking out the window and running around with other cats. I take a while to get used to new cats but once I get used to them we become best friends. I love to wrestle with and then clean my friends. My best friend is Nikki. I was hand raised since I was about 10 days old so I am great at being handled, as long as you aren`t playing with my eyes. I will sometimes flinch when you first touch me if I don`t realize you were approaching or I don`t recognize your scent. My biggest down fall is I occasionally pee in the wrong spot, I don`t know why but the humans seem to think my anxiety is the main cause. When I was younger I went through an period where I couldn`t walk very well. The humans found I had Luxating patellas but that was not the overall cause. After many vet visits and tests they figured out I had an infection that was effecting my muscles. They put me on this gross meds and after a few days I had no more pain. I now continue to be a playful girl that just wants to be with people. I love wrestling and grooming other cats as well as playing with kicker toys or stuffed toys. I have been through a lot in my life but I am ready to find a place of my own that will love me the way I am.
Kids: Older or adult only Cats: Friendly and playful yes, slow introduction. I think Nikki would not like being without me so can you please adopt her too. Dogs: They don`t seem to bother me Special/Medical: Visually impaired, Anxiety, Inappropriate urination, Luxating Patellas, bad depth perception

Meet the animals and an Adoption Counselor
Once you’ve found an animal (or two!) that you’re interested in adopting, please email us at info@ofosa.org to set up a meet and greet with the foster family who is taking care of that pet. All pets have received an examination and assessed for any health or possible behavioral concerns to the extent possible while in our care.
REQUIREMENTS: All members of the family along with any other dogs must be present to meet the new animal to make sure that everyone is compatible! Dogs must not live as outdoor pets and all animals are REQUIRED to be spayed or neutered. Certain breeds will not be adopted to apartment dwellers. We also reserve the right to refuse to place an animal in a home without a fenced in back yard. We adopt our animals based on a first come, first qualified basis. Our main concern is to match our animals with the most ideal home, the decision is based on many different factors.
Complete the adoption
If you so choose, you are able to take the pet home on the same day that you first meet them. When you’ve found a great match, it’s time to complete the adoption process! You’re welcome to ask our volunteers or fosters questions about training and for tips on helping your new pet adjust to your home.
Placing Pets on Hold: We do not place animals on hold. We adopt out on a First Come, First Qualified basis.
Medical or Behavior Consults: If the pet you’re interested in has any medical conditions, we will arrange pre-adoption consultations with our medical / clinic staff so you know what to expect.
