Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chunky is said to be 18 years old and a very sweet dog left at a kill pound by an owner who had "no time." We had an eye removed and burrs pulled out of his coat and feet and cleaned up a horrible mouth and tried so hard to get the little guy feeling better. And I think it worked as he is wandering about and sleeping soundly just happy to be alive and feeling okay maybe for the first time in a long time. Obviously the old owner kept him outside hoping he might die? WHo the heck knows but it was not good! He deserves so very much better. What do you think? He is a real senior but has a lot more love to give now that he is being cared for. He needs a home that will accept his old age and let him live out a holistic and safe ending. And he is living much longer than we expected when we met him and all my worries are for not, Chunky M may have a couple more years even!
