Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi! My name is Gus. I am a 7-month-old “special needs” kitty looking for a forever home. I’m a very smart, playful kitty and I’m a little love bug. I also love to cuddle with other cats, and even dogs. But I need to take medicine every day.
Here is my story. A nice lady named Rachelle saved me and my litter mates from a very bad situation when we were just babies—we lived in a house with lots of people and several kitties, but we didn’t have any cat food and there were no litterboxes. We were sad when the people moved out of the house and took our mama and left me and my siblings behind. I guess our mama wanted to go off and have more kittens; I heard them say she already had 10 or 11 litters! Wow, that’s a lot of babies!
Anyway, we got lucky because the nice lady who saved us took us to her house and gave us kitten chow and canned food to eat, and boy did we eat! We were starving!
During one of my visits to the kitty doctor, we discovered I have something called hydrocephalus. It made me have seizures. That was scary! I went to a special doctor called a neurologist and had my brains checked out with an MRI. I’m on medicines now and I haven’t had a seizure in almost two months. I am going back to the kitty neurologist on July 1 for a check-up. Then I will be ready for my new home!

P.S. Gus’s mama, Lady Catlyn, was surrendered to The Cat Ambassador last month and has been spayed. So, no more babies for her!
