Here's what the humans have to say about me:
What would be better than a laid-back dog who is totally housetrained, listen to commands, and just wants to cuddle all day long??? NOTHING!! Henry Joe is the companion who hasn't had the best of luck finding his forever home. He is so ready to get with his forever peeps and start doing those things that suit him best! He may be a little older than he looks and acts, but with age comes loyalty and loyalty is what HJ has for his humans. He would make a great pet for a single home or a large family home. He is totally housetrained and loves to just lay around and enjoy being in a loving home. He would do best with older children as he tends to be hesitant around small ones. He has been cat-tested and did well even though the cat was pawing at him:). He wasn't bothered by them at all. A video is available of him meeting the cat upon request. He walks great on a leash.
Go to youtube and watch his video just made - https://youtu.be/maBL2tM9GBA
He gets along great with his other foster siblings once he has been introduced to them. He loves to run and play. He will chase after any ball or dog toy you will throw. He knows how to sit for his treats. He walks great on a leash and would make a great running buddy or would be just as pleased to cuddle on the couch with his human and favorite blanket:) He loves to give kisses. Let him show you what a great guy he is!
Won't you guide my sleigh tonight? In celebration of helping every dog find a Home for the Holidays, this sweet CPR doggy has a special adoption fee of $300! If you aren't able to adopt at this time, won't you please share and help us find Henry Joe a home of his own?
If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 12 pm-2 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.
TO APPLY PLEASE GO TO www.cprdogs.com. If your application was successfully submitted you will get a confirmation. Please DO NOT USE the ADOPTAPET "CONTACT THIS RESCUE GROUP" form below or you may not hear from us as these often end up in spam or bouncing back.
After receipt of your application, an adoption counselor will then be in touch to answer your questions about this pup, discuss the adoption process and get the ball rolling! If you have not heard from one of our volunteers within 5 days of submitting your application, please email mollibo@gmail.com.
