Stripes is a sweet 10-year old female kitty who was surrendered by her owner to the Washington County Ohio Dog Warden on June 14, 2021 along with several of her companions who had shared her home (Baby, Butterscotch, Midnight, Patches, Sammy and Stormy).
Stripes has a brown tabby short smooth coat with stunning bronze/orange highlights in a torbie pattern, an extra- long tail, and a beautiful face with golden eyes, a splash of white on her muzzle/chin, a brown velvet nose, and long white whiskers.
Stripes has a calm serene disposition and a sweet easygoing personality. She was in the midst of a beauty nap when we stopped by to take her glamour photos. Stripes looked so peaceful that we just had to snap a few pictures of her snoozing away before waking her up.
Stripes was given vaccinations, wormer, and flea treatment on June 14, 2021. She was also combo tested and is negative for feline leukemia and FIV. Stripes is a petite little lady who weighs 6.2 lbs.
Stripes was taken to one of our wonderful local veterinarians on July 12, 2021 where she was diagnosed/treated for pyometra (uterine bacterial infection). She was also spayed during that hospitalization and returned to HSOV on July 14, 2012.
Stripes is looking for a fabulous home either through adoption or rescue.
Rescue groups may contact our HSOV Feline Rescue Coordinator via email (sharonpaul2@suddenlink.net). We can usually help with transportation.
