Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hank is back!
Hank is an owner surrender. His owner indicated that he had litter box issues. Hank's owner threatened to throw him outside if BestPals Animal Rescue Center would not take him in. Luckily a space opened up, It was then that we discovered he had very sore feet. Our vet indicated that he has pillow foot (plasma cell pododermatitis). His foot pads were very raw. The vet suggested that we use shredded newspaper for litter until Hank's foot pads heal. He has not had any litter box issues since we did this. Hank will need to have a medicated foot cream applied to his foot pads until they heal.
Hank is a sweet and loveable big boy who needs someone who cares enough about his health to put him on a special diet and continue his foot pad treatment.
