My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! I’m Tallulah and I am officially adoptable. I’m one year old and luckily am with the nice people at CEBR. I don’t like to think much about my time before I came into rescue, because I wasn’t treated very well, but lucky for me I’m living the good life in a foster home now! I had some medical setbacks recently after being spayed, but now I’m healthy and ready for my forever family.

I’m told that I’m pretty small for a bulldog (about 30lbs) and that I look like a chubby piglet, which means I’m basically forever a puppy. I am a happy, loving, and spunky girl. I love to lick people’s faces (and hands, and legs), play with my dog foster siblings, and chew Nylabones, and rubber balls (and sometimes things I not supposed to, oops! I’m still a puppy, what can I say?). My favorite time of day is meal time- I jump for joy and throw my front paws up in the air while my foster parents are getting my meal ready (they say I look like baby panda when I do that). When I’m out and about, everyone stops to tell me how cute I am and how soft my fur is, and people love my squishy face and my pretty colors. I’ve even met some human children and was very gentle with them.
I have something called Spina Bifida, which for me means my back legs are a little weak, and I also use a diaper because I can’t “hold it” to go potty outside. But let me tell you that does not hold me back! Sometimes I scoot on my diaper-butt if I only want to go a short distance, but when I want to go to another room in the house, I get my legs under me and off I go! I can even run fast when I want to, you’ll be shocked at how speedy I am! I do have a cute stroller that my foster parents take me out in when we want to go on a long outing, but every princess deserves her own carriage, don’t you think? The diaper changes are no big deal (my foster parents even made me a stand to hold my booty up while they change me, since my legs are sometimes not strong enough for me to hold myself up), and best of all it means my foster parents don’t have to take me for walks when the weather is bad, and we don’t have to worry about “house training” or “accidents” on the carpet.

If you’re looking to add to your family a cute little gremlin-dog that will grunt and excitedly follow you around the house all day, you’ve come to the right place. I need a special family that will love me forever, not despite my quirks, but because of them. I promise I will pay you back with lots of love and the best puppy personality you’ve ever met!
