Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Copper has had one home her entire life and came from a mini/standard Australian Shepherd breeder out of North Carolina. We love Copper and she loves her people but we recently had twins and she just no longer fits into our family. We have people in and out of the house and she becomes anxious and has nipped when new people approach her.
She would be best suited in a house that has more predictability and less chaos. She thrives off of consistency and needs a dominant owner who will become her alpha. She loves her family and will always stay close to them. She is a very sweet and affectionate dog.
She tore her ACL earlier this year which we had surgery to fix and has done very well in recovery. We are back to our regular walks and she uses the leg very well when she isn’t trying to run. Copper is a highly intelligent dog who loves a task. She loves to play ball but only has 2 speeds; fast and faster. We recently had to stop throwing ball due to the torn ACL.
