My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sammy is a beautiful 4-year old female kitty who was surrendered by her owner to the Washington County Ohio Dog Warden on June 14, 2021 along with several of her companions who had shared her home (Baby, Butterscotch, Midnight, Patches, Stormy and Stripes).

Sammy has a charcoal gray short smooth coat, a long tail, and an adorable face with emerald green eyes, pale gray shading on her muzzle, a gray velvet nose, and long white whiskers.

Sammy has an affectionate, easygoing personality and isn't just another pretty face .. She was quiet and rather subdued when we took her preliminary photos in her cage, and we know that she surely misses the freedom of her very own home.

Sammy was given vaccinations, wormer, and flea treatment on June 14, 2021. She was also combo tested and is negative for feline leukemia and FIV. Sammy weighs 7.6 lbs and wouldn't take up much physical space in your home but would fill your heart with love.

Sammy will be spayed before being adopted by her new family (a requirement for HSOV adoptions). She will also be available for rescue.

UPDATE: Sammy was spayed on August 23, 2021 and was also given rabies vaccine. She weighed 7 lbs that day.
