Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Butterscotch is a sweet 2-year old male kitty who was surrendered by his owner to the Washington County Ohio Dog Warden on June 14, 2021 along with several of his best friends who had shared his home (Baby, Midnight, Patches, Sammy, Stormy and Stripes).
Butterscotch has an orange tabby short smooth coat, a long ringed tail, and an adorable face with bronze-colored eyes (which he managed to close in most of his photos), a pink nose, and long-white whiskers.
Butterscotch has a friendly, easygoing personality and was quite content to continue his afternoon cat nap while we snapped first photos .. though he did stand up once to stretch his legs before snuggling up in his blanket again.
Butterscotch was given vaccinations, wormer, and flea treatment on June 14, 2021. He was also combo tested and is negative for feline leukemia and FIV. Butterscotch weighs 7.2 lbs, so he wouldn't take up much space on your sofa or bed.
Butterscotch will be neutered before being adopted by his new family (a requirement for HSOV adoptions). He will also be available for rescue.
Rescue groups may contact our HSOV Feline Rescue Coordinator via email (sharonpaul2@suddenlink.net). We can usually help with transportation.
UPDATE: Butterscotch was neutered on July 7, 2021 and was also given rabies vaccine. He weighed 7.8 lbs that day.
