Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Jake is a 3 to 4 year old Mini Aussie who weighs about 30 lbs. He hasn’t had the greatest start in life, but things are starting to look up for him.
Jake has struggled with some fear and reactivity issues, but with medication and training, he is coming right along and working hard to be more confident. Jake has mastered some basic commands and he is crate trained and housebroken. He gets along well with cats and female dogs.
Jake’s ideal adopter will be an adult only home that doesn’t get a lot of foot traffic. He is working on his leash reactivity, but would prefer a home with a fenced yard that doesn’t rely on walks for exercise.
Jake isn’t a high energy fellow. He’s more of a laidback homebody. He enjoys toys, especially if they squeak! Jake’s adopter should be prepared to continue working with a positive reinforcement trainer to help him continue to grow and develop confidence.
