It’s a pleasure to meet you, I’m Opal! I am a 2-year old black lab
mix that weighs 50 pounds. I am very happy that LOLIN brought me into
their rescue and I know that the perfect family is out there for me. I
came into LOLIN expecting a litter of puppies. Now that my 9 sweet
babies have gone to their new homes, I am looking for that right home
for me.

Are you looking for a running or walking buddy? Well, I would be perfect
for the job! If you are a runner, I prefer to go for shorter distances
though.

I am also a sucker for belly rubs and will never them down. Oh…and I
really like going for car rides so you will have a permanent road trip
buddy if you adopt me. Another way to my heart is chicken! I love me
some chicken.
I will need a home without any children or other animals, including
dogs. I will need an experienced dog owner and a low-traffic home. I
have some aggression from my past life and I know through the help of a
dog trainer that you and me both can overcome this. It seems I like to
internalize my stress and then react. I am very trainable and having
chicken at the ready will help. I would also really like a fenced-in
yard to hang out and romp around though it’s not necessary.

I’m already potty-trained and housebroken. Please do not let my past
scare you, I am a very sweet girl and know that the perfect family is
out there waiting for me.
