Here's what the humans have to say about me:
WAGS RESCUE WELCOMES RED! This handsome 6 yr old Wire Coat Terrier is a gem! Sadly, we removed him from his home when owner could not care for him, or even himself. We picked Red up from deplorable conditions after the human had lost everything he owned and was living in a camper with a generator. He cried as he surrendered him but wanted better for his fog than he had for himself. Red has been with the same owner since a puppy. HIs connection to humans is amazing and he is very lovable. The neighbors bulldog was tormenting him so Red learned to be on defensive with another dog in the home. Red does fine with them outside but does NOT like another dog taking the attn from him. We suggest an only dog home please. He is a true treasure who has been neutered, microchipped and NOW is heartworm negative. He does great on a leash and enjoys walks daily. Red is also crate and house trained. Red is 6 yrs old and a nice mixed Wire Hair terrier at 40 lbs. YOu can apply at wags-rescue.org
