My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, I'm Fearless. Well, my name is Fearless, I am striving to BE fearless so I can live up to my name. Right now I am pretty nervous and cautious around people. I still don't know if I can trust these odd creatures. Only time will tell I guess. In the meantime, I am trying to understand them and mainly keep a watchful eye on their daily lives as they interact with me and the other cats here. So far, I hear a lot of baby talk and squeals when they think one of us is cute, or if we make "progress" and allow them to interact with us. Weird. The longer I'm here, the more I allow smaller interactions, it is funny to see how excited they get. They think I can't see or hear them when they walk a few feet away to react. Again, weirdos. But, they take care of me and give me comfy beds, blankets, and hiding spots that I enjoy, so I allow it. As much as I am content-ish here, I do want to find my forever home, although my new family will have to bear with me and give me a lot of time, understanding, patience, love, and space if I need it. I will take my own time and interact on my terms, or else not at all. You can't force me or I react with my claws, but mainly just to try to get away, I don't actually want to hurt anyone. I can't be in a home with dogs or kids under 18, but will generally be ok with other cats if I have my own space. I do have some chronic URI symptoms pop up here and there, but it usually is controlled with daily immune support and making sure I get regular vet visits. If you think you have what it takes to be my people, please start the process to meet me.
