My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

George is a 7-8 year old Cattle Dog (Queensland Heeler) who has several good qualities that make him adoptable to an adult home, preferably as the only dog. He's housebroken, good off-leash, obedient, non-destructive, and super-mellow. Being the older dog he is, though, he's not patient with kids and was surrendered due to biting the son of his owner. He can co-exist with a non-confrontational female dog but prefers his own space and can be crabby if he has to share it with another dog. We like George, and so did his owner; she was quite heartbroken to relinquish him. We think an older person or couple who prefer an undemanding, loyal, easy to handle companion, will be happy with this 45-pound buddy.
