My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

What is your favorite- chocolate chip, banana nut or apple cinnamon? Hands down, BLUEBERRY MUFFIN is ranked #1. I could be bias since it is my name. Yes, I am called BLUEBERRY MUFFIN. I am definitely the best thing since sliced bread. I am pretty sure I got my yummy name due to my gorgeous coat. I am the perfect blend of silver and brown brindle and my fur is buttery soft. If you are looking for a companion that is sweet as sugar, your search is over. I may be milking it a little here, but I think I am egg-actly what you are looking for in a pet.

Let me tell you a little about myself. I was adopted from a county animal shelter in Southern Indiana a couple of years ago. I thought my life was going to be a piece of cake. I had a loving home with a mom and dad and kiddos to help entertain me. Then the perfect recipe for disaster happened…a divorce. Everything got mixed up when my mom couldn’t take me with her and my dad was working way too many hours to care for me properly. The whole situation was half baked. I was so depressed when I had to go back to the animal shelter. The kind workers there reached out to Rover Rescue and told them that I am definitely one of the cream of the crop.

I am an adorable 3 year old Pit Bull Terrier mix. I weigh in at a healthy 63 pounds and there is not one ounce of fat on me. You can tell that I have been an indoor pet as I have great manners. I am housebroken and will crate easily with a treat or two. So far, with the exception of making the presence known of a visitor to the house, or talking with a neighbor dog, I am pretty quiet. I enjoy playing with the more energetic canine, and would probably do best either as a solo dog, or with a younger energetic friend who likes to play. I may need a reminder once in a while to not get too excited in my playing. I can also love to relax chill. I take goodies very gently. I do very well in a home with either adults or kids. I love to be loved and to give love! If you would like to meet this dog please call Teri at 630-897-7454. The adoption fee is $225.
