Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Stretch! Stretch is a sweet and very shy pup. He is slowly learning that he can trust people and he will take treats from your hand after a few minutes. He is skittish and dislikes quick movements and loud sounds. Stretch does best on walks when he is with another dog to encourage him along. He is very tentative and easily startled when he is by himself. He will get spooked and pull back toward the shelter, which is his comfort zone. Stretch likes female dogs' company and will follow along with them and even lead on walks sometimes. He would do well living in a home with most females and likely many calmer male dogs. Stretch is far more comfortable when he is with other dogs, so he needs to go to a home with a canine friend who can show him the ropes. He is likely not a good candidate for a home with children due to his fear issues. Stretch will do best in a quiet home with a patient family who will give him the time he needs to decompress.
