Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Gracie!
Precious little Gracie Girl is a 9 year old, 14 pound Chihuahua mix waiting for a lucky family to take her home! Gracie is a cuddle bug, wether it’s resting her head on your lap while cuddling on the couch, or snuggling into a nice doggie bed, she loves a cozy nap. But when she’s awake she’s right there by your side, the perfect ‘lil companion. She looooves being loved on. She’ll flop right onto her back and stare at you with puppy eyes until you rub her belly. Or she’ll come sit near you and patiently wait for some scratches. She especially loves scratches on her butt, they make her tail wag like crazy! Afterwards she may sneak in a few kisses to thank you.
Gracie gets along well with other dogs! She loves to play and be silly with others, and will sassily show her playmates she’s ready to play with a nudge (or few). And after playtime she’ll join the others dogs on the couch for cuddles and a nap.
Another favorite activity of Gracie’s is spending time outside. She loves to sniff around the yard and to go for walks, and has has quite the speedy pace, it’s soooo cute seeing her happily trot along! Gracie likes to run too. When let outside she will run around the yard with you, play a fun game of chase with doggie friends, or even run alongside you while on the leash for short spurts.
Gracie is just so sweet, funny, and such a love bug. She’s dog friendly, kid friendly, and house trained. And we can’t forget to remind you that she is so so cute. Does Gracie sound like the perfect fit for you?

Disclaimer: It is VERY difficult even for a veterinarian to tell the exact age of a dog over two years old. From one vet to another, we can get different age estimates on the same dog and they can vary by several years. We are only making an educated guess based on a few factors like teeth, fur color, and overall body condition, but for dogs who have not been given adequate vet care and food, it can be even more difficult. Every dog is an individual, and we do our very best to age appropriately but make no guarantees as to the age of any dog in our program.
