My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Five weeks ago, we rescued this little lady and her five babies.  Her neck was splayed open from a deeply embedded collar and it looked as if she was nearly decapitated.  She was SO VERY PATIENT and immediately let us debride and apply salve to her wound.  We were blown away as she settled in our lap and nearly fell asleep!  She was so relieved to be touched gently, even on such a sensitive area, she relaxed and gave in to the exhaustion.

BahamaMama has officially and forever healed and overcome her horror. Five weeks is all it took. She is HAPPY and PLAYFUL (after settling in and getting comfortable with the people and friendly dogs in the her foster home). Our greatest hope for this girl now seems absolutely obtainable: A HOME WHERE SHE CAN CUT UP AND FEEL FANCY AND FREE!
Bahama is only 37# - a PERFECT size pup! She is SUPER smart, loyal, beyond adorable (duh) and loving all the things like TOYS, PLAY, ZOOMIES, SUNBATHING, you name it, she’s liking it!!!!
She is now ready to begin the hunt for her forever family, to include friendly, sweet doggies to continue helping her heal and learn, a securely fenced yard, and people who want to grab her formerly tortured torch and carry it to continued healing on all fronts. We are so in love with and so protective of this baby girl. She deserves to know TRUST, DEVOTION, LOVE enough to help erase the God-awful past she endured.

Adoption fee is $300
