Here's what the humans have to say about me:
MEET George This super active boy requires a home with a large fenced yard ideally in a somewhat rural setting. His ideal Family and home would be a small family with no children younger than 12. George also requires a home with no small animals as he likes to stalk and herd them. He needs to be the only dog in the home.
George will require a very active family as he loves to go on hikes and can go on adventures for hours and hours. A family that does water activities is a absolute bonus because he absolutely loves the water! George has had reactivity in meeting new people but he has made great strides in overcoming his fear. But will still require a forever family that understands he will need continued work on those introductions which have to be done at his pace. As long as they're done at his pace he is good with you for life.
George loves to play fetch all day and knows drop it, sit, down, stay, come, leave it and more. George is also kennel trained but does not need to be in one when left home alone. George absolutely needs a home with herding breed experience, He also needs confident leaders in his home to help him make good and confident decisions! George Would also do well in a performance dog home as he would be awesome at fastcat, rally and obedience. George is a 3 1/2-year-old Aussie mix (definitely a lot of Border Collie in him as well ).
George is current on vaccines as well as heartworm prevention and is heartworm negative. George is being fostered in Auburn Georgia and will require a meet and greet prior to adoption and a Furever home within driving distance of Auburn Georgia.
