Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Otto is a 7-year-old male red tri Australian Shepherd who was raised by the same family since he was a puppy. He is approximately 60 pounds. His family began fostering young children and unfortunately, the child that they brought into their home had special needs and wasn't respectful of Otto's boundaries. The family was forced to make a difficult decision and here we are presenting you with the handsomest Mr. Otto.
Otto is very well-trained dude. He knows numerous commands: sit, stay, down, shake, wait, and he also fetches really well. He lets you know when he needs to go outside and has had no accidents since being in foster care! Otto is crate trained, but can be left alone in the house without any issues. Believe it or not, Otto loves to watch television and if a dog comes on the television, he jumps up and whines like he wants to see more!!
He does well with adults but we recommend no children under the age of 15. Otto needs an active home to manage his Aussie energy. Otto is very loyal and loves to be petted - especially belly rubs! Otto has previously lived with other dogs, but he doesn't mind being the center of your attention. He does best in the company of other submissive and play dogs.
Otto is neutered, up-to-date on all vaccinations, microchipped, and taking monthly preventatives for heartworms, fleas and ticks. He is fostered in Pleasant Hill, Missouri area.
NEEDS: home without younger children active home endless belly rubs A fenced yard WANTS: Aussie experienced home (preferred) another submissive dog or only dog
