Calaya: This precious girl came to us as part of a large group from a bad puppy mill situation in Missouri. She has made incredible strides and is coming out of her shell more and more each day! Calaya is about 2 years old and is a tiny 40 lbs. She loves, loves, loves other dogs so her forever home should have at least one dog who can be her BFF and continue to show her the way. She is also cat-friendly, amazing! Her forever family will have a fenced in yard so she and her pack can run and play, and will be patient and kind as puppy-mill dogs do take a little longer to adjust to regular normal life. Calaya is in the Dallas area.

Calaya will need an extremely patient and understand forever home who can continue to work with her and let her know that she is safe and loved. She absolutely needs a pack to share her home with, as she is more confident around other dogs and takes cues from them very well.
