Here's what the humans have to say about me:
It is hard for me to put into words how wonderful this dog is. Uncle Buck came to Sky Sanctuary after a police officer discovered him alone on the streets. After a bit of searching we discovered his previous owners who admittedly subjected him to life on the patio of their apartment complex due to “a no pets policy”. Thankfully, they took us up on our offer to provide with the life he has always deserved. Truly, this gentlemen is wonderful. I am tempted to use the p word.. perfect. He is an easy going, older fellow that finds much of life enjoyment from receiving belly rubs and treats. He will actually stand on his back legs and do a little happy dance in hops to earn a snack or two. Buck is quite the socialite and can become instant best friends with just about anyone, adults and children alike.
Buck is leisurely and passive with dogs of all sizes. He is known to hop in his foster siblings dog beds but his true passion is humans. We have found that he coexists with other dogs but bonds almost instantly to people. Felines on the other hand are not his favorite. His foster family shares what a pleasure it has been to get to know Uncle Buck and they are hopeful that he soon will find a special family to call his own. So, if you are looking for a jolly older fellow to kick back and relax with, consider submitting an application to learn more about Uncle Buck.
