My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ginger was rescued along with her littermates from the Guadalupe River. She loves to be pet and is very playful. She takes her time learning to trust new people and places. Ginger might do best with a mellow male cat as a friend or as an only cat. She is vaccinated, dewormed, defleaed, and microchipped. Ginger would do best with someone that is cat savvy and can be patient and understanding while she adjusts to a new home and person. Once she's comfortable, Ginger will be an affectionate friend.

Ginger is being cared for by a member of the community.  To arrange to meet this cat or find out more, email us at courtesy@thedancingcat.org.

More about this rescue

We are a nonprofit 501(c)(3) animal rescue organization dedicated to saving local at-risk shelter pets from the San Jose Animal Care Center. Our goal is to give adoptable animals a chance to shine in a casual and relaxed environment, and expand opportunity for adoptions, thereby reducing the euthanasia rate in Silicon Valley. The Dancing Cat also seeks to create a community of cat lovers by providing a place for fun social and educational events.
