My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Thanks for showing interest in the "Nut" litter. They were saved from a shelter in KY that does not have a space designated for puppies. These puppies are very sweet and playful but unfortunately weren't well socialized with many people. They can be a bit timid when you first go to play with them but once they feel relaxed, you can start to see their true personality. In order for them to be great adult dogs, they need proper socialization with other pets and people while they are puppies.

Before deciding to adopt, please make sure you are ready for a 12-15 year commitment. Too many people jump into adopting with good intentions because they see a cute photo. Suddenly they get home with the puppy and realize they are in over their heads and the only one that suffers is the dog. If you're ready to potty train, if you're ready to lose sleep, if you don't mind things getting chewed up around the house and if you work full time and have someone willing to come over during the day to let them out, then take the next step today! (8-10 hours alone for a puppy is not fair at this age and makes it much harder to potty train),

PLEASE DO NOT EMAIL, CALL OR SHOW UP AT THE SHELTER ASKING TO MEET THE PUPPIES OR ASKING HOW TO ADOPT. Instructions are as follows: Interested adopters MUST FILL OUT AN APPLICATION FIRST and send it in. Applications can be emailed to info@medinacountyspca.com or faxed to 330-441-4624. You can download the application with the following link (copy and paste the link below into a new browser):

We will call back approved adopters in the order the apps were received to schedule a meet and greet.

Almond has been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and wormed which is included in the $200 adoption fee.
