Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Name: Jackson
Breeds: Shepherd/ Cur Mix
Age: Young Adult
Gender: Male
Looking for a hiking or walking buddy? An active companion for your kids to burn off energy and play with? A pooch experienced in camping, playing in the water, and being the best snuggler around? Look no further because Jackson is all that and a bag of chips! Jackson is about 18 months old, best guessed to be a shepherd/cur/?? mix fully grown at about 55 lbs. He is housetrained and crates well for the workday though does sing the song of his people at times so a home without shared walls is needed. He is otherwise not a super vocal dog and has good manners in the house. He has some basic training and is incredibly smart and social. He sometimes will jump up on people if he gets really excited but he mostly knows to keep 4 on the floor. Jackson is good with other dogs, but he is a rowdy player so better with larger dogs than little ones. He’s never been aggressive. We do not know how he would be with cats. He was around them as a pup but has not been since. He adores people and loves to snuggle up…it’s 90 degrees out right now but you’ll be begging for a warm snuggle buddy when winter sneaks up on us! He is a well-rounded, well-socialized boy who has been loved and trained and it shows. Jackson is an active dog so needs a home who will commit to exercising him with daily walks/jogs, playtime, etc. to tire him out.
